Missing the baby days

Today has been a fun day at work!  Two friends dropped by and I got to hold their precious baby girls:  Mykah…3 weeks old (Erin Hill) and Hannah…3 months old (Aimee Woodard).  Sometimes I really miss those days.  Today is one of those days.  Don’t get the wrong idea, I don’t want to have more babies, I just miss when my kids were babies!  Mother’s Day Out a.k.a. “school,” MOPS, play dates, Ladies Bible Studies, etc.  Fun times!

Although, I do NOT miss the sleepless nights, ear infections, diaper changes, spit-up, and potty training!  NOT so fun times!

Enjoy these days, ladies.  If you blink you’ll find yourself going to soccer practice, dance, piano….going to ball games……hosting sleepovers…..helping with research papers…..teaching them to drive…………

Oh to have one more night to rock them to sleep………..

I remember feeling that way so well and then before you know it, there are grandbabies and that is SO perfect. You and Todd have a beautiful family.
