We are in the midst of many summer activites that have caused me to push my blog to the back burner. My goal is to get you caught up on the Life and Times of the Landers Family!
On May 22, B1, K and I headed to Oklahoma for Memorial Day Weekend. Todd needed to work, help a friend move, and go to BCS graduation, so he and B2 stayed home. We had a great visit with family and Todd and B2 had a wonderful Father Son weekend!
K has been playing summer league Volleyball with College Station. B1 played summer league Basketball and 7 on 7 football.
June 22-26, the kids and I went to Youth Camp (Zephyr Baptist Encampment at Lake Corpus Christi). Todd was unable to join us this year because of Administrator (in Chicago) and Teacher (in San Antonio) conferences. Camp was AWESOME and the kids had a GREAT time! Our speaker was Brad Fogerty, our comedian was Bob Smiley, and our band was CommonGround Band.
Later this week we will head to Oklahoma for a vacation. We plan to stay for several days and hope to see our friends, as well. Please contact us by leaving a comment on this post, on Facebook, by email or by phone if you are going to be around. We’d love to see you!
