Youth Camp at Orange Beach, AL

Attending youth camp with First Baptist Belton took us to Orange Beach, AL. We traveled 14 hours by bus, meeting at 11:30pm on July 4. Getting on the road by 12:15am. It took us 14 hours with stops for 100 people.

Good Morning, Wednesday!

Wednesday afternoon we were blessed by a visit from our good friends (from Oklahoma but live in Alabama), Greg and Carrie Skaggs! They drove 3 hours just to see us! They are so special to us and we treasure our friendship! Thanks for coming to see us! We love you guys!!!

I heard stories of people seeing dolphins early in the mornings, so, on the last day, the girls in my condo got up early and headed down to the beach. We waited… and waited… and waited… but the only dolphins we saw were these….

…not quite what we were expecting…. 😦

And, finally, it’s time to head for home. Here we all are… waiting at the curb to be picked up by the buses.

We had an awesome week! My family is so blessed to be a part of First Baptist Belton! We love our church and all of the new friends we are making! God is so good!
